Big Boer Ranch was established in August of 2009 when we were able to locate and purchase some very impressive stock. This stock came from Chalk Creek Boers in Coalville, Utah and prior had been part of a import project called NUSAA. This project was a collective effort between breeders from Namibia and Australia who hand picked these animals to go to the USA and represent their genetics. We were able to purchase the original 9 Does that were imported from Austrailia as our foundation herd. They were purchased as bred Does and came to Canada with kids at their side. The goal of Big Boer Ranch is to provide sound breeding stock to breeder's and commercial meat herds across the globe. We hope to have 400+ females breeding in the next 4 years and we are well on our way. We offer structurally correct and well muscled animals bearing a true type head.
